Summary
Designing, building and securing the commerce systems that run a Swedish retail operation end-to-end: an internal ERP, an e-commerce storefront, a B2B wholesale portal and the in-store tooling that ties it together.
Working the retail floor and customer service alongside development gives direct daily insight into the operational problems the software is built to solve - features ship because the shop needs them, not because a backlog says so.
Key Work
- Built an internal ERP covering inventory, purchasing, pricing and order flow - replacing manual spreadsheet processes.
- Delivered a B2B wholesale portal with role-based access control, tiered pricing and ordering.
- Run the public e-commerce storefront and its integrations.
- Productised the in-house tooling into butiksmanager.se, a retail-operations platform now used by other small Swedish shops.
- Security-first build: authentication and authorisation design, secrets management, dependency review - the same discipline from seven years of security work, applied to shipping software.
Stack Node.js, Express, React / Next.js, MongoDB, REST APIs, role-based access control.
